EPOLBIND Binders, a Guarantee to the Circular Economy in the Iron & Steel Industry

The continuous search for real solutions in the Iron industry, has led us to design the EPOLBIND range of binders, designed to partially or totally replace bentonite. In general, EPOLBIND binders are used in dosses from 0.1% to 2%, producing pellets that do not requiere a thermal treatment after the pelletizing process,  being enough to let them dry at room temperature to obtain incredible mechanical properties, green and cured.

Through its use in the agglomeration of iron ores, high compressive strengths were obtained both for the raw agglomerate and once dry and, in addition, a high wear resistance.

Capable of distributing moisture more evenly than any other material and thus generating briquettes with a higher total amount of iron in the pellet.
