Anionic polymers

Anionic polymers are derivates of acrylate  with increasing quantities of acrylate groups, that give negative charges and, therefore, anionic character, in aqueous solution.

Cationic polymers

Cationic polymers are derivates of acrylate  with increasing quantities of cationic monomers which confer positive charges to the polymer in aqueous solution.

Non ionic polymers

Non ionic polymers are technically pure acrylamide. The non ionic acrylamide, in auqeous solution, shows neutral properties not influeced by the pH of the application.

Amphoteric polymers

Amphoteric polymers are partially hydrolyzed acrylate with high molecular weigth. This type of acrylate easily removes negative and positive particles in a suspension.

Coagulants

Organic and inorganic coagulants are used to destabilize colloid suspensions in water; can be followed by flocculants addition to improve solid/liquid separation.
